Morning Sickness: bland foods such as crackers or cereal will help get your stomach adjusted. Avoid fragrant, fatty foods which may induce nausea.
Constipation: grains, fruits and vegetables are high in fiber and will help stimulate your bowel movements.
Diarrhea: eating foods that contain pectin and gums, such as applesauce, white rice, oatmeal, and watermelon, will help absorb excess water.
Heartburn: eating several small meals a day or drinking milk before a meal might help minimize the burning sensations.
Also remember to stay hydrated by drinking six to eight glasses of water a day, and if you live in an older home, be sure to test the lead content of your tap water.
